Lerato Kganyago’s looks got social media body shaming her. Lerato Kganyago, a South African media star, had to dispel rumors that she was pregnant.
After sharing a photo of herself on Instagram, the media celebrity responded to those who accused her of being ugly.
Lerato Kganyago recently hosted a corporate event at Sun City and this week she uploaded a number of behind-the-scenes videos on her Instagram page.
In one, the Metro FM host displayed a stunning gown with beading on the bottom. Many fans, however, made remarks about Lerato’s appearance rather than the celebrity’s appearance.
The media celebrity was actually surprised by the amount of conversation that filled the comment section.
But Lerato Kganyago quickly poured cold water on the comments, clapping back: “IF I WAS PREGNANT I WOULD SAY! I’VE SAID THIS BEFORE”
When one follower asked her if she was “cooking something”, Lerato responded: “Yes, weight gain”.

Lerato Kganyago has had a difficult few years dealing with a variety of health difficulties, such as fibroids and infertility problems.
Lerato revealed last year that she had had four miscarriages. In April 2021, she shared something on her Instagram Stories.

“I was pregnant. I’m sure you guys saw that I was really really big … then I had a miscarriage. Yes, I had a miscarriage this year again, it was my fourth miscarriage.”
Lerato added that she was hopeful her body would carry her baby to full term.
She continued: “I think I was three-four months pregnant but unfortunately I lost my baba, life goes on. This is something that I didn’t want to discuss but since we’re having [an] honesty night. I was looking forward to this pregnancy, I thought this time around that I had made it through because I had been trying so hard for a while.”
