Tebogo sues Inno for defamation claims..
Actress Tebogo Thobejane allegedly sued social media influencer Inno Morolong for defamation. This is a result of their nasty public argument a few months ago, during which Inno accused Tebogo of being a liar. The Muvhango actress, according to Sunday World, demands R500 000 from Inno as well as a public apology and retraction.
Inno called Tebogo “a loose lady” and made some accusations against her during one of her outbursts. She also said that she sells her b0dy for cash.
Following their violent altercation, Inno revealed on Instagram live that Tebogo had previously slept with Nigerian men to buy jewelry among other things. She referred to her as a “evil witch.”
“I don’t sell my b0dy, I sleep good at night… my daughter knows one ex of mine. You call me an old rag but you sleep with 20 guys, in fact, 20 is an understatement. Some of these men you sleep with them without protection and you’re filthy,” she said.
“Some of these men f*ck you in your own house. No man has f*cked me in my own house. You’re even staying with your child but f*ck men in your own house. Unprotected s.x you love it die. You f*ck the same set of friends, should I name drop? I can mention the names of the men… all those Nigerians and old men. Do you remember who hooked you up for your first bracelet? You even had to f*ck friends to get that bracelet.”
She also made mention of a President, “What about the president? What about when you had a three sum with your friend and you said she was boring in bed?”
According to the court documents, Tebogo said the comments were defamatory, and as a result, she is suing Inno.
“The defendant’s statements are malicious and violated the dignity of the plaintiff, which the plaintiff is entitled to protect since it is not true that the plaintiff is a prostitute,” the lawyer letters read as quoted by the publication.
Inno allegedly responded with “LOL” when she got letters after continually ignoring them when they were addressed to her.
Even further, Inno said on Instagram that she would never apologize to Tebogo since what she had stated about her was true.
“For what? For saying the truth? Why must I apologise to you. I will never. You can do the worst you can think of but I will never apologise to you sesi,” said Inno.
Tebogo contends that Inno’s claims are unsupported by any facts and asserts that the drama caused her to suffer some financial loss.
Tebogo claimed that Inno is nothing more than a bully after the defamatory remarks and that the bullying had gone too far.
“It’s not true. Everybody can see what I’m doing. I’m always working. She’s just trying to ruin my reputation. I’ve dated a lot of wealthy men [but] that doesn’t make me a prostitute. I think she does a lot of things for likes.”
“She’s going around defaming my character. She called all my friends, tried to destroy all my relationships. She is just a bully.”
