Is Vusi Nova Wearing a Wig?
According to him, Vusi Nova has not rebranded, but he has merely introduced a new character named Snova, and Mzansi is not fond with him. Vusi Nova was a well-known Afro Soul/RnB singer who had singles like As’phelelanga, Ngikuthandile, and many others, but Mzansi is unsure if his alter ego, Snova, will be able to match Vusi’s star power because he is an Amapiano musician.
Vusi Nova has not only changed his name and musical genre, but he has also transformed his appearance. Tweeps had to do some digging to figure out how much he paid for his new hairstyle because of the way he looks and his hairstyle has changed dramatically.
Vusi Nova reportedly spent around R3500 on his new wig/weave, according to a blogger. To pull off the entire look, one must be entirely bald, which may suggest Vusi Nova is also bald.
“According to Pat’s Perfect Beauty Salon to install Vusi Nova’s Brazillian kinky hair costs R3500. The wig is strictly for people who are bald,” he wrote.
Vusi released his new Amapiano single called Shuku Shuku and did not move the streets as he had anticipated.
Vusi did mention that he has not re-branded, but he has just introduced his altar ego, ”Shuku Shuku by Snova is finally out and is available on all digital platforms. Let the weekend begin! By the way, Vusi Nova is not rebranding. He just let out his alter ego Snova to play with other kids.”
But when Vusi posted an image of himself a follower told him to remove his wig but he cussed her off which could mean he is not wearing a wig and dismissed the disrespect.
But some people are convinced that Snova is a clone and it is not the real Vusi Nova. Reacting to a TikTok video, Vusi laughed his lungs out at the cloning claims.
But the assumptions became weirder and weirder as people think Somizi is behind this. If you think about it, Somizi + Vusi Nova = S’Nova. Makes sense right?
This only made people still think that Vusi Nova is in the closet and that he should be true to himself already which is crazy. The obsession of dictating how people should live their lives is very high on these social media streets.
Recently, Vusi Nova was linked to Lasizwe Dambuza but he said they are just bible study buddies.
The one person though he has been linked to even till this day is Somizi. He told Jon Savage on his What’s Your Poison? podcast, that they are not dating but are in a 16-year-old friendship.
“I have known Somizi for 16 years. I met him before I even got into the music industry. He’s so real and supportive. Somizi is one of those genuine people that believes that if you have a dream, no matter how big, you can work towards it and achieve it.
“His success has been motivation for me to believe this is possible. Somizi is living proof that reaching your dreams is possible. It’s not often you find someone you are able to trust with your life and when you do find someone like this, it’s important to nurture that relationship.
“People out there are saying that we are dating but we’re not dating. We have mutual respect for each other and we trust each other a lot … With us, it’s realness all the way. It’s been 16 years now and we’re still going strong,” he said.
Despite having been hurt numerous times, Vusi still believes in love, “Even though I’ve gone through so much in terms of my romantic relationships, I still believe in love. I’ve dusted myself off and I’m moving forward, there’s no time to move back, there’s no time to look back ndiyaphambili. I still believe in love,” he said in a radio interview.
