AKA’s landlord instructs family to collect his furniture from Bryanston rented home. The landlord of slain rapper AKA seems eager to have a new tenant moving in. This comes after he gave the maestro’s family instructions to gather his belongings from the Fromberg house he was renting out in Bryanston.
AKA was shot and killed in front of a restaurant in Durban, and according to the Sunday World, his landlord Nthsimane Mekoa has told his family to get his belongings.

The lease agreement was cancelled soon after he passed away.
Claims that AKA owned the home, which he flaunted on television while filming his well-known show The Braai Show with AKA, will be disproved by the embarrassing anecdotes.
It was widely believed that the rapper owned the property, however that is no longer the case.
This would also put to rest claims that the house bond, which is valued more than R4 million, was settled with funds his estate got from his life insurance and will be left to his designated beneficiaries.
AKA had earned a large amount of riches and was well known for displaying it on social media.
A lot of people believed that the Bryanston home was his personal home.
“It was not his house. He was renting the property and was paying about R40 000 a month. I know people thought this was his house because of the vehicles he was driving,” said AKA’S close ally, who did not want to be named for fear of victimisation.
Police have stated that they are getting closer to solving his murder.
The ally claimed that Mekoa informed AKA’S family that he had ended the lease and asked them to visit the building to get his items.
No one has been arrested yet for his murder.
