Their videos address rumors that they dumped their former relationships in favor of one another.

Recently, Motlatsi Mafatshe and Gabisile Tshabalala discussed their love in a video posted on their YouTube page. In response to claims that they started dating while still married, the couple said that they have been dating for about a year. Both celebrities had previous marriages, and it took them some time to heal from their divorces before finding love once more.

“I did not leave my ex-husband for Motlatsi, I left because the marriage wasn’t working … we tried, I gave my all, and I don’t regret anything. Out of my marriage I’ve got two beautiful children who I love so much,” Gabisile said.

Despite his efforts to make his prior marriage work, Motlatsi claimed that he and his ex-wife mutually agreed to divorce.

The actor claimed to be in a contented relationship and to have discovered love in Gabisile.

“In my case, it felt like a mutual thing. I think the love kind of ended. I remember we both went like, ‘I’m not happy’.

“Now I’m very happy, she [Gabi] makes me happy.”
