How did it begin? In a since-deleted tweet, the “Yass B!tch” rapper had stated that she no longer feared death. Many of her fans who read the tweet believed she was suicide, especially since she also emphasized in it how much she missed her murdered lover, AKA.

She responded to the worries that her tweet caused in South Africa by stating that she was simply sharing her ideas about how they might cross paths in the afterlife. She adamantly maintained that she is not in anyway suicidal and has been taking things easy.

Many of her supporters, who suspected something was off and were preparing to step in and make sure she didn’t hurt herself, are relieved by the clarity.

After AKA was killed on February 10 of this year, shortly after leaving Wish Restaurant with his friends—including his former manager, Tbello “Tibz” Motsoane, who was also killed—Nadia Nakai has not had an easy time.
