Nandi Magudumana entered Zim shortly after Thabo Bester escaped. It has come to light that Dr. Nandipha Magudumana, Thabo Bester’s primary accomplice, crossed the Beitbridge border into Zimbabwe not long after he fled from detention and had her passport stamped.
Magudumana, however, never re-entered South Africa the same way she had left it.
Instead, she boarded a flight from Bulawayo to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport.
Magudumana was discovered to be in possession of both her passport and the passports of Dr. Mmereka Patience Ntshani, also known as Dr. Pashy, a renowned anesthetist in Johannesburg, when she was arrested last week.
The Black Mercedes Benz S63, which was partially purchased by Magudumana before it was driven through the Beitbridge border, may have offered a key piece of information, according to Home Affairs Minister Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi.
Magudumana last crossed the Beitbridge border with her passport in May 2022, according to information released by Motsoaledi earlier on Friday.
Nandi Magudumana entered Zim shortly after Thabo Bester escaped.
This comes after information last week that the car owned by Magudumana had a sizable deposit paid to a prestigious car dealership before it was shadily transported across the Zimbabwean border.
“Using this passport, Dr Nandipha left the country on the 9th of May 2022. She left via Beitbridge Border Post but she returned three days later on the 12th of May 2022. She entered via OR Tambo, she was from Bulawayo.”
The publication revealed on Wednesday that the car had been at the border crossing since August after being discovered abandoned inside the country.
The car is thought to have been used by Nandipha to cross the border, where she left it so that Bester could pick it up and escape deeper into the continent.
Well, Thabo Bester’s story has left many people Wondering. What do you think is going to happen to Dr Nandipha?
