Nkosazana’s Daughter Confirms Her Relationship With Master KG
Award-winning producer Master KG, whose real name is Kgaogelo Moagi, has addressed and dismissed rumors suggesting that he is romantically involved with singer Nkosazana Daughter. Speaking to TshisaLIVE, the Jerusalema hitmaker clarified that the persistent rumors have adversely affected their professional relationship.
“It’s not the first time I heard this claim and I’ve got to say this has put my working relationship astray, because whenever we meet it’s work, which all our music fans have witnessed. Nkosazana and I aren’t dating and social media has concluded we are an item,” he stated. Master KG emphasized that he considers Nkosazana’s Daughter, whose real name is Nkosazana Nolwazi Kimberly Nzama, like a sister, and he urged the public to stop perpetuating these false claims. “We have a good working chemistry, that’s all, and I take Nkosazana Daughter like a sister. May this be the last time I talk about her in such a story, like we have good music to record. We come [too] far in music to let such claims prosper.”

Nkosazana Daughter also refuted the rumors in a recent Instagram story, expressing her frustration over the unfounded speculations. “You guys are so boring; now men won’t ask me out because ‘She’s dating Sir Trill and Master KG.’ I’m not! Zinja, stop that nonsense; it’s annoying. That time, Master KG is like a brother to me. This needs to stop immediately,” she wrote.
The two artists have collaborated on several successful tracks, including hits like Sofa Silahlane, Dali Nguwe, Makhelwane, and Keneilwe, showcasing their strong professional rapport.
Master KG’s response follows the end of his on-again, off-again relationship with singer Makhadzi. The couple, who publicly announced their split in 2020 to focus on their careers, briefly rekindled their romance in 2021 before finally parting ways in 2023 amid publicized accusations of infidelity, which Makhadzi later retracted by claiming her social media account had been hacked.
The clarification from both Master KG and Nkosazana Daughter aims to put an end to the rumors and refocus attention on their music and professional endeavors.

Their work relationship has come under scrutiny as music fans suggest the two are dating and not just making music together.
Last year the duo recorded smash hit Amaphutha, followed by Keneilwe, a song originally created by the 1980s and 1990s popular group Dalom Kids.
Addressing the rumours, the Jerusalema hitmaker told TshisaLIVE the claims are reflected negativity towards his work ethics.
“It’s not the first time I hear this claim and I’ve got to say this has put my working relationship astray, because whenever we meet it’s work, which all our music fans have witnessed. Nkosazana and I aren’t dating and social media has concluded we are an item,” he said.

Earlier this week, Nkosazana Daughter rubbished the claims on Instagram.
“Mara la bora shem, now men won’t ask me out, nwe nwe nwe, she’s dating Master KG, nwe nwe nwe, she’s dating Sir Trill. I am not. Zinja yekani lo doti (you dogs had better stop this nonsense). Niyabhora xem (you bore me).”
