Before his terrible death, Kiernan “AKA” Forbes was dating Nadia Nakai, who was not with the rapper when the tragic occurrence occurred that Friday night.

It has come to light that Nadia went to a birthday celebration for Y.FM DJ Ayanda MVP in Johannesburg.

AKA was shot and killed in Durban, and an on-site eyewitness and a photographer who was there to document the event stepped closer to Nadia to photograph the female rapper’s initial reaction to the news.

AKA and Nadia had a close relationship despite their loaded PDAs. Nadia wrote her SUPERMEGA boyfriend a sweet note on January 28.

AKA and his friend Tibz were both fatally murdered in a terrible shooting that happened in Durban on Friday night.

The Kwa-Zulu-Natal police have opened an inquiry into the incident and urged anyone with information that could help identify the musician’s killer to contact them at any nearby police station or by calling a Crime Stoppers hotline at 08600 10111.
