Somizi’s Baby Mama Palesa Madisakwane reveals Sad News
Palesa Madisakwane, who is the mother of Somizi Mhlongo’s daughter, Bahumi, has recalled a memory where she narrowly escaped death after being involved in a tragic car accident.
Johannesburg- In many stances when we leave the house and embark on a trip, taking the road, we always hope to return safe. With so many road accidents, one is grateful to return home in one piece as it is very rare nowadays.
She recently opened up on this tragic which took place in 2019. Palesa sat down and talked about this ordeal with a talk show host, Relebogile Mabotja as they discussed the whole details.
Palesa revealed that the accident was caused by a drunk driver.
“All I remember are bright light from oncoming traffic and the car started to spin,” she said.
Palesa added by saying that after the accident, she lost consciousness but her daughter’s voice woke her up – she was trapped inside the car, that was now catching fire.
She said people started arriving at the scene, and managed to rescue her daughter. They both received medical attention in an ambulance
“But inside the ambulance, I kept losing consciousness and in that moment, felt like my spirit was leaving my body.”
Palesa revealed that the accident took a toll on her because she had been experiencing constant headaches and memory loss
“I once got job at a TV station as a news anchor in the morning, and only lasted three months. This is because I would look at the autocue and it would go blurry. In another incident, I lost consciousness while interviewing a top politician,” she said.
She added that her character on Isibaya was also cut short because she was forgetful.
Palesa urged people to stop drinking and driving.
“I could have lost my life and child. Right now, my children would be living without a mother, all because of a drunk driver – someone who became irresponsible,” she said.
Somizi stepped in and helped his baby mama as she took her to aesthetic surgery to have her face fixed. He paid for the whole surgery after Palesa was worried about her TV career due to scars on her face.
