The Suspect Who Shot Tebogo Thobejane Has Been Arrested
Tebogo Thobejane finally feels safe as the person who shot her in October last year has been arrested.
How Tebogo Was Shot
“They had just had drinks and dinner with a few friends. She was traveling in her BMW and was seated at the back with a friend,” said a friend. “Another friend was driving behind them in her car. The attackers overtook the friend’s vehicle, got in-between the two cars, and opened fire at Tebogo’s vehicle from behind.
Relocation To Dubai
The South African actress was in a car when the hideous event occurred, which led to her relocation to Dubai.
“As a woman, it’s disheartening to live in fear due to the unknown,” she said.
Thobejane was coming from Saints Champagne Lounge in Sandton, around 11 PM with a friend and their driver when three men pulled up and shot at their car.
Speaking to Afromambo, she claimed the shooting was intentional.
“It did not look like it was a robbery or an attempted hijacking. I have my suspicions- it looked like a hit.”

Life Abroad Is Not Easy For Tebogo
Her social media posts are portraying her as having the time of her life abroad but according to sources close to ZiMoja she is struggling to cope with the expensive lifestyle in Dubai, where even a simple burger can cost up to R300 or more. She has been complaining about the high cost of living and how weak the South African currency is compared to the Dirham, the currency in Dubai.
But recently, on her Instagram account, Tebogo shared some sizzling content from her Dubai vacation, including a video of her enjoying some time out by the pool, inspiring her fans. Tebogo previously admitted to leaving Mzansi because the clubbing scene had become hostile and the “beef and hate towards her was unbearable.
” Before jetting off to Dubai, Tebogo had returned to the country re-open her entertainment lounge Club X after she was travelling abroad when she became a target. “I don’t know, maybe it’s jealousy or the fact that I have come home to reopen the club but I am not scared. My ancestors would never fail me,” she said at the time

According to those close to her, she is in touch with reality Tebogo is considering coming back to South Africa to either hustle or get a full-time job. Her friends, however, have praised her for being a good mother and taking her role seriously. The television star refused to comment.
