We can’t ignore actress Thuso Mbedu’s blossoming international success because it appears like fashion is unquestionably her middle name.

The 31-year-old recently garnered media attention for her participation on the venerable American talk show The View and the world premiere of her star-studded film The Woman King.

However, this time she garnered attention for her Instagram photo while sporting a $82,000 suit from worldwide fashion house Christian Dior.

The top was a mesh short sleeved sweater that retailed for R32,000 on the market. The front Christian Dior skirt, which cost R50,000, was asymmetrical.

The South African star has been on a press tour, promoting the historical epic all over the world and updating her social media fans on her every move.

Mbedu shared a behind-the-scenes video of the movie’s production on Wednesday. It was shot by director Brittney Janae.

The video excerpt displays movie sequences as well as the actors’ physical training for the role of a warrior.

In order to capture the making-of of The Woman King, Janae made her first trip to South Africa. She did, however, also document her time in the nation in a brief film, calling it “an experience I will never forget.”
