Top 10 Celebrities That Have Publicly Accepted That They Have Had Plastic Surgery

Several Hollywood stars, including A-listers and reality stars, have openly discussed their plastic surgery experiences. Some notable names include Cardi B, Simon Cowell, Kris Jenner, Chrissy Teigen, and Dolly Parton

Botox and Facial fillers can help with preventing natural aging. However, many people boost their confidence by going under plastic surgery, such as nose jobs or liposuctions. Admitting it to other people may seem difficult.

Most celebrities who undergo cosmetic surgery treat it like an accessory in attaining a certain look, especially with the high rate of regular fillers, botox, and other face augmentation procedures they undergo.

Afromambo will list some celebrities who have openly accepted they have had plastic surgery.

1. Bella Hadid

Hadid shared that she regrets her nose job at 14. “I wish I had kept the nose of my ancestors,” she said. “I think I would have grown into it.”

She also added that the procedure is all she has done. “People think I fully fuXcked with my face because of one picture of me as a teenager looking puffy. I’m pretty sure you don’t look the same now as you did at 13, right? I have never used filler. Let’s just put an end to that. I have no issue with it, but it’s not for me.” Instead, she said, her lifted appearance is an illusion: “Whoever thinks I’ve gotten my eyes lifted or whatever it’s called—it’s face tape! The oldest trick in the book.”

2.Kylie Jenner

“People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false. I’m terrified! I would never. They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do. I mean, no. It’s fillers. I’m not denying that.” says Kylie for Paper Magazine.

3.Katy Perry

“I’ve done lasers and got [filler] injections under my eyes for the hollowing — which I’d recommend for everyone who wants a solution for their dark circles — but all of my assets are real. People tend to think they are fake, but it doesn’t really matter,” Perry told Refinery29.

Cardi B has never shied away from discussing her plastic surgery experiences. And even though people may have different opinions about her cosmetic procedures, the rapper says the enhancements make her feel her most confident.

“Well, I’m from New York, right? And New York is a melting pot, especially where I grew up in the Bronx. I was really skinny when I was younger, and in the Bronx, it’s about being thick and having an ass so young boys would be like, ‘Look at your flat ass. You ain’t got no t—ies.’ And it would make me feel so ugly and undeveloped,” Cardi said in an intimate conversation with Mariah Carey for her Interview cover story.

“It is true that I look artificial, but I believe that I’m totally real,” Parton told CBS Sunday Morning back in 2019. “My look is really based on a country girl’s idea of glam. I wasn’t naturally pretty, so I make the most of anything I’ve got.” The country legend has admitted to a few cosmetic procedures, including breast implants, a brow lift, and eyelid surgery.

Many speculated that she had undergone multiple cosmetic procedures, including rhinoplasty, cheek implants, and lip augmentation. Despite the speculation, Lil’ Kim remained tight-lipped about her alleged plastic surgery

“I would encourage anyone to first speak with a therapist, to try and figure out where this want comes from because a lot of times it’s not related to your teeth or your nose or your chin, the surgery is not going to alleviate that insecurity for you,” said Megan to Allure.

13.Kylie Jenner

“I’m not against plastic surgery. I’ve only been under [anesthesia] once before, when I went to the dentist and I didn’t react well; it really scared me,” the makeup mogul wrote on her eponymous app back in 2016. “I threw up and I was SO nauseous the next day. But as of now, I only have lip fillers…But I’m also someone who says ‘never say never.’ If, down the line, I get to a point where I’m really uncomfortable with something on my body, I’m not against changing it.”

“I love them so much I had to talk about them…I’d feel better not to have some secret. It’s much freer to say it and then you don’t have to worry someone will dig it up,” the rapper told E! about her breast augmentation back in March 2015.

15.Angelina Jolie

Other women, such as Angelina Jolie, choose to have staged breast reconstruction using implants. In Jolie’s case, she also had what is called a “nipple delay” procedure about two weeks prior to her double mastectomy

In a groundbreaking New York Times Op-ed, the actress spoke about her decision to undergo a preventative double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. “Nine weeks later, the final surgery is completed with the reconstruction of the breasts with an implant. There have been many advances in this procedure in the last few years, and the results can be beautiful,” she wrote.
