As Mzansi is mourning the tragic death of popular DJ Peter “Mashata” Mabuse a video footage showing his last moments before he was shot dead has emerged on social media.
The emergence of heart-wrenching video footage showcasing DJ Peter ‘Mashata’s final moments has left Mzansi in a state of deep sorrow and grief.

Dj Peter Mashata who was popularly known as “Msindo” or “The Noisemaker” in the entertainment circles was shot and killed in the early hours of Sunday morning.
DJ Peter Mashata was booked to perform at the All Black event held at Epozini Lifestyle in Soshanguve Block G.
Tragically, while returning from the event, DJ Mashata was ambushed by unidentified armed assailants near Soshanguve TUT (Tshwane University of Technology). The vehicle he was traveling in was showered with a hail of bullets.
Regrettably, DJ Mashata died in the shooting incident. However, another occupant who was traveling with him fortunately survived the attack and is currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital.
Police Launch Murder Investigation Into Dj Peter Mashata’S Fatal Shooting
The police have confirmed Dj Peter Mashata’s death and the shooting incident.
“The shooting involved two men aged 46 and 45 years during the early hours of today (Sunday). One victim died in hospital while the other was injured.”
“The two victims were driving near TUT (Tshwane University of Technology) in Soshanguve when shots were fired at their vehicle. The suspects fled and police are following several leads.”
The police have since opened murder and attempted murder dockets following a shooting incident.
