In April of 2024, Skhothane sa Pitiro, who is the road manager and friend of Skomota revealed that internet sensation is being exploited by his manager. In a podcast with Richy B & Leejoy, Skomota said he only gets paid R1000 by his manager, Moruti Wa Dikota. This is despite him charging over R30k for bookings.

Skomota also revealed that he is living in a poor condition despite his fame and that his manager has cornered all of his wealth.

Skomota announced in the Richy B & Leejoy podcast that he is married and his wife is pregnant and expecting. The identity of his wife wasn’t revealed.
