- The main character is none other than our “Queen B”, TV and radio personality Bonang Matheba.
- While there is no denying her beauty and amazing talent on the small screen, over the years the Top Billing star has hopped from one man to the other. In the process, she has been accused of being the ultimate celebrity side chick.
- At one point, Bonang reportedly posted a picture of herself on Instagram inside a Johannesburg tycoon’s private jet. Moments later, after recognising the jet, the tycoon’s irate wife is said to have called Bonang and ordered her to “Back off” from her husband.
- Such sorry tales about the beauty’s love shenanigans have been well-documented, taking her from being the “It girl” of Mzansi to being dubbed a “relationship wrecker” and “man-eater”.

- What made their love story more genuine was the fact that they both came from the town of Mahikeng in the North West province.
- They also support each other’s careers and Bonang was often spotted at his shows.
- But then, without warning, the couple went their separate ways in 2008.
- Now many believe the break-up led to Bonang’s future love troubles.

The former Clash of the Choirs host then landed up in the arms of DJ Euphonik in 2009, and for some time it seemed as if she had finally found her match.

- This came after Khune, while attending an event in Sandton where the former couple were also guests, allegedly inappropriately touched Bonang’s thighs.
- Euphonik reportedly saw red and told the goalie where to get off.
- This incident fuelled rumours that Khune and Bonang had been secretly hooking up behind the backs of Euphonik and Khune’s then-girlfriend Minnie Dlamini ‘the virgin’.
Drama: Itumeleng Khune Kissed Bonang Matheba Infront Of Euphonic
- It girl Bonang Matheba is considering taking “action” against Itumeleng Khune after he groped her at a popular Sandton nightclub last weekend. Matheba remains furious at how the Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalie rubbed her inner thigh and kissed her on the lips at Sway at about 2am last Saturday morning. Her management team is now determined to “get to the bottom of” what happened and “not sweep the matter under the carpet”.
- Khune, who is in an on-again, off-again relationship with TV personality Minnie Dlamini, accused Matheba’s boyfriend, Themba Nkosi, known as DJ Euphonik, of slapping him in a confrontation after the incident.
But Euphonik emphatically denies this: “Yes, I raised my voice because we were in a club and there’s loud music, so speaking normally would not work. I did not put my hands on him or slap him like he claims.” He did, however, send Khune an angry text message the next evening after he had tried calling him several times without the star goalie picking up the phone.
- “You disrespected Bonang and I wasn’t going to nje sit back and leave it because we are high-profile people,” read the text. In it, Euphonik tells Khune he doesn’t regret his reaction. He adds, “Even people around you say you get out of hand when you drink.” The drama began when Khune saw Matheba and Somizi Mhlongo in the club’s VIP section.
- Khune hugged them, but while greeting Matheba he allegedly put his hand up her dress and kissed her.
- Matheba’s manager, Sylvester Chauke, said she was still “very upset”, and that they had “engaged with everyone concerned” and are getting to the root of the matter before considering legal options. In an email to City Press, Euphonik said he tried to call Khune to remedy the situation, “but all he could say is that I embarrassed him and he didn’t want to talk to me”.Sway manager Makhosini Sihlali confirmed that Khune and Euphonik argued, “but Euphonik did not touch Khune, although there was an exchange of words”.
- Khune’s legal adviser, Chris de Agrella, said his client told him about Euphonik’s apology.
Siphiwe “Shabba” Tshabalala
- Bonang and the Amakhosi midfielder were rumoured to be dating at the time she was presenting Kaizer Chiefs FC TV.
- Reports then suggested that Shabba made no secret of his crush on the big-eyed beauty.
- They reportedly went on various dates but it would seem either nothing came out of it or their so-called romance was short-lived.

- It all started with that kiss at the MTV Africa Music Awards in July. Nigerian superstar D’Banj was announced as the winner of the Evolution Award at the show and he went up to collect it, Bonang and him shared a kiss.
- From enjoying overseas holidays together to spoiling each other rotten with expensive gifts, the two were supposedly madly in love. But then, D’Banj publicly declared his love for his ex-girlfriend, Adama Indimi, on her birthday in AUgust.
- He posted a picture of her on his Instagram account with the caption “the queen of my heart”.

Bonang Matheba has revealed that the secret to her happy glow is the American guy she’s been dating for over a year.
In an interview with Drum, the South African personality has finally broken her silence about life in the Big Apple and her love life.
Matheba made a move to New York in June last year to expand her alcohol brand BNG.
Whilst there, she found love in an American guy she is not ready to reveal to the public just yet. Bonang has been in a relationship with New York bae for a year and 4 months and things are going great.
“But I just feel, the last time I introduced someone to my fans and followers, things just went pear-shaped. Showing my relationships has never benefited me in any way. It has brought me worse than good, and I learned that the hard way.”
